What is the correct place for the tounge when playing. I tend to press it against my upperteeth. Is that wrong?

No pressure!

I discovered that I have had a tendensy to press the lip-plate against the lips when I play. When i almost remove the lip-plate away from the lips :shock: its easier to produce both low and high notes. :D

+1 Fluteguy18 I went through the same thing. I would advise you go to see a Doctor that deals with sports injuries. When I first started playing, I suffered from muscle swelling. After I got over that, the doctor gave me stretches, and weight training exercises. I still do them 20 years later! Will...

Neckpain. :-(

I have been praciticing severeal ours every day the last weeks. And now I have a severe pain in my neck on the left side. Anybody got any tips that dont include, "Stop playing for a week or three"?

I have bought his lecture on the Bach suite i b minor. He is the best flutist in the world i think and his lecture is very helpfull. But i must say that the quallity is not the best.
