I agree with the above, YouTube is your best friend. Stick with James Galway and Nina Perlove for a start as there are a lot of people on YouTube who should not be giving advise. Once you're a bit more up to speed then go mad searching for specific topics as you'll know whether or not they seem know...

Usually if i've been playing intensively the G# key will eventually start sticking, when i press my left pinky down i'll hear a slight 'mwah' sound as the key opens as moisture has made a slight suction around the pad. Have you looked at the Pearl range? I have an excellent Pearl pic made from Grenaditte. It sounds more like Grenadilla than metal or plastic but it's much more affordable and practical (as it doesn't react strongly to changes in temperature).
