Where can I buy the flute and piccolo parts to the full Young Persons Guide to the Orchestra by Britton?

My orchestra did it this spring. It has first and second flute, with separate flute 3/piccolo part.

Has anyone played this piece (orchestral version) and know what the parts are for flute/piccolo?

Any tips on where to breathe in this solo? Also, any fingerings to make the second part of the solo any easier? My fingers just don't want to sort themselves out that fast.

I prefer the offset G, but I agree it's personal preference that matters.

I am very happy with my new flute. The heavy wall and the Tsubasa headjoint are definitely the right choices for me. Thank you all for encouraging me to try, and choose what works for me.

Are there no stores in the UK where you can go and try flutes in your price range? I've just gone through this process and found it very helpful. It was well worth the trip to try a variety of flutes and find the one that is best for me. Good luck.

I am looking at Muramatsu GX models for my next upgrade. I visited a flute fair a couple of years ago and played a lot of different flutes.
