While I am no expert, I know enough to say the Amati's are not good flutes. You would be better off with a Jupiter, Yamaha, Gemeinhardt, Trevor James.

I play Native American flutes professionally and decided to add the concert flute to my abilities. I took lessons for about a month, life got in the way and I didn't play for 2 years.
