We all know the Cavally Books of Melodious and Progressive Studies and how great they are. But in this day in age we should be able to find the etudes and be printable online. Its a growing resource and you can actually talk with the flutist that are part of the channel.

I`ve recently tapped into The Flute Channel on youtube. Its quite good, I'd give it a chance. It looks like she also answers questions, and there are other "series" on the channel, like history and repair.

I can't stress enough what everyone else is saying: Just play the thing. Have fun! I have a few friends who play the flute on so many levels but what makes most of them do it, just the sheer fun of it. If you want to learn aspects of flute playing I can't recommend the TheFluteChannel.com enough. Ha...
