I play on an emerson flute and i absolutly love it. I got "the american headjoint" (seperate) for it and it makes my tone great. it's a good choice.

Maybe you're band director wants to give the other girls a chance? Maybe he feels you'd be good for it but that the other people deserve a chance? I don't know, that's what my mom always tells me. lol I don't always agree with this, but it might be the case.

what exactly is music therapy?

what are your views on emerson flutes? is emerson a good
brand? i never hear much about them...

my flute teacher told me to try this for sticky pads...
get cigarette paper. she also recommended end wrap paper for when you get a
perm.

I have an Emerson model 6 flute (open holes, inline g, american

our chair audition is this... our director gives us a
little section of the music and we have like 2 weeks to prepare it. then section
by section we go into another room and try out.

How long does everyone practice a day? What do you do during
this time? Do you know any good exercise books? thanks
