Sorry it took so long to answer, the reply notice got lost in all my emails. Thanks for the great tip. Since then, I have had my flute fixed by Twigg Music Shop in Quebec city, 3 hours drive away. Damsaged pad - temporary fix?
Hi, I have a Yamaha intermediate flute that has a damaged pad. It's the one for G# on the left hand pinky. The pad surface has been scratched and must be leaking. The result is that I can't sound the low D much, and low C, not at all. I tried to put some cork grease on the scratched part of the pad ...
