fluteguy18 Thanks for your response. I have experience in overhauling flutes, so there's no problem on attempting those materials. The fact is that I've seen those thin layers on both Yamaha and Muramatsu flutes. It looked like silicone or something like that. Just was looking for somebody to know a...

Hi everyone! I´m overhauling my old Yamaha flute and I've noticed that the adjustment screws makes a lot of metal to metal noise.
