I just went and looked a bit closer at my flute, based on what you said, and I found... as you suspected... a spring that had come dislocated. I replaced it and the problem is resolved. Thanks much.

I have a Powell Sonare SF6000, open hole B-foot flute. It appears to me that if I installed hole plugs, the flute would not be able to play the E note. Let me try to explain: When working down in sequence one note at a time from the top (note C), when I close the F key the D key also closes (as well...

Help ID this headjoint please (with photo)
(My previous post probably failed with the photo link. This is another attempt) I'm hoping someone will recognize the logo design of this HJ and help me determine the maker and any other information about it that can be found. Help ID this headjoint please
