Count the number of holes on your flute, then count how many are "open". A wise pro once told me if it made a difference half your notes would sound different than the others.

No offense but most people that love their Gemmeinhardt are ones that have not progressed to the point where they buy a better flute. Then they understand why no one recommends them anymore.

A quick check of NY Flute, Nussbaum, JL Smith, Fluteworld and a couple other large internet sellers show none of them carry Aprenti.

Aprenti is not affiliated with Altus in any way. It is not an Altus Jr. Contact Altus if you want confirmation.
