Which flute for beginner
I plan to start learning flute.
Which instrument should I buy (I can't afford a $2000 model )
On this forum, I have read about Yamaha 211 or Armstrong 104.
Another web site mentioned the Armstrong 200-E.
Other suggestions ? What's the most used beginner model ?

Same techniques for different flutes ?
I plan to have flute courses in next september.
I just wonder if the playing techniques are the same for normal flute, alto or bass flute, for piccolo ?
In other words, learning normal flute, may I be able to play other flutes later or will I have to take other lessons ?
