Message approval

Is every message screened? The long delays in seeing my posts and replies does hinder conversation. Or are my messages being screened because I am new? Just wondering how this all works?

Yes, new members are initially moderated to reduce spam posts to the board. I don't recall the exact number, but after you have made a few approved posts, the moderation delay will be removed. You are close! :D

Can anyone check into the number, please? I was told back around my 13th post that I was close, but my posts are still being moderated at 18.

Do spam-bots really make 20 or more attempts to post in a forum? I'd think you could lower it to 15 or even 10 and still keep out most of the spam, based on my observations on other forums where they post maybe 3 times and get blocked and don't show up again.

Not fixed yet... I tried removing you from the "Newly Registered" group. You should not have still been in there. Let me know if you can post without moderation now.
