Name that Piece
I lost my programs from my 3rd and 4th year flute performance recitals! Shameful I know. Just this week we got the recordings put onto our computer from the DAT they were originally recorded on. Unfortunately year 4 is full of distortions because the tape was only made to last 5 years and it's already been 10 years since.
If you could please help me to figure out the names of my pieces I would greatly greatly appreciate it. As for the misfortune of year 4, once I find out the names of the pieces I will just buy the music and record it better this year! I'm very excited about that.
Here is the link to all the pieces! http://wp.me/pHupa-4R Please have a listen and let me know the titles. I am sure you will know them.
Thank you so much.

P.S.
I had thee best piano accompanist in fourth year! Kumi Miyagawa she is amazing. You'll really enjoy listening to her!

Hey great job - thanks!
I'm not sure if in year three we cut the DAT up right but the song you aren't sure of I'm thinking must be either:
Divertimento Opus 9 – Oistein Sommerfeldt
or
Rondo Capriccioso Opus 14 – Felix Mendelsson
I must find the music and read through it again while listening .
Thanks for your help! Good ear & great memory!!

You might want to check out SmartMusic. It is like Music Minus One on steroids. It's a subscription - $30 per year. You have to provide the flute sheet music that you play, but they have a very large repertoire of accompaniments for much (hundreds of titles) of the standard flute literature. Not only can you change the tempo, but the thing that's really great about it is that the computer software that plays the accompaniment actually LISTENS to you (via computer mike) and will FOLLOW you tempo-wise. It's truly amazing.
