In Bach's Sonata in a minor, the last movement Bourree Anglaise, I have been puzzling over a couple of notes that do not sound quite right to me. In my copy of the piece, measure 8 has the last note printed as F, and measure 10 2nd note as F also. Every time I play this it sounds wrong to me, and I have started playing those two notes as G, which is how measures 7 and 9 play them. Furthermore, elsewhere in the piece these phrases are exactly the same when they are repeated, instead of having just a couple of notes varied.
Has anybody else run into this? What do y'all think about it?

The Southern Cavally edited eition has it as measure 8, last note F, measure 10 2nd note as G, last note F
This is one of the pieces that will be discussed at Patricia Harper's Masterclass in July which I will be attending. I'll let you know what she says about it when I return.
Just returned from a Masterclass taught by Patricia Harper.
According to her, measures 8 and 10 are the same and should be D-G-D-B and G-B-D-F. Evidently there is an error in the Urtext edition. She also said then when you see something repeated like that, it should be played differently the second time i.e. vary dynamics and/or ornamentation.
