Can anyone give me a lead on how to get the scores to Reinecke’s three sonatinas for flute and piano, maybe first written for violin and piano? I am listening to them on a disc be the
Danish flautist Andras Adorjan. Fallen completely in love with them, but can’t find them anywhere, whether for sale or free from IMSLP. I’d really appreciate some help with this.
Peter
PS They all come under the heading of Op. 108

Have you tried the Petrucci Library? http://imslp.org/wiki/3_Sonatinas%2C_Op ... e%2C_Carl)

Re: Reinecke Sonatinas
Hi pied_piper,
I’ve seen that one, but not listened to it yet. The works I am chasing are in Op 108. I heard them on Naxos, on an album by Andras Adorjan, which is entirely made up of Reinecke works - it’s a marvelous album, on the Tudor label. I got to it via the IMSLP site - if you’re a contributing member you get free access to Naxo, which is a really good deal IMO. I’ll try this one anyway ... I was initially put off by it starting on low B, which I don’t have on my flute - a stinker of a note to start a piece on for flute players anyway. I’ll download it and try it out. Work to be done!
Thanks for your help,
Cheers Peter
