The price of sheet music in NZ is ridiculously high ... shockingly so! $60 or so for a new piece.
I'm heading back to the UK for a holiday so am planning on stocking up but not sure what to get.
I'm just thinking about doing my grade 8, and have been making progress on the Hindemith Sonata in preparation. I'm also working on Blavet Sonata No. 4 which is about the right level for my ability.
Any suggestions please?

er… maybe stock up on core repertoire? like mozart, bach, handel, poulenc?
