Hi,
I am new to the forum and wanted to share a piece of flute music that I wrote while I was studying abroad as a college student in Rome, Italy. It is a two movement work depicting the fall and ruins of Rome. The instrumentation is currently for flute and guitar, but if anyone is interested, I am willing to create a piano version of the accompaniment. Please let me know what you think of the work. A recording of the piece with a nice slideshow of pictures that I took in Italy is at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8B_Ww1irYQ
If you are interested in purchasing and performing the piece, please visit my website: www.BenEasler.com
Here is the direct link to "Echoes" on my site where you can view, but not print, the score for this piece as well: http://beneasler.com/Ben_Easler/Echoes.html
I would love to know what a group of flute players think of the piece. Information about the specifics of each movement are at the YouTube link as well as my site link. I would love to hear more performances of the work!

Re: New PIece: "Echoes"
Hi, congrats! Really interesting peace!
I liked the jazz style coupled here and there with a bit of tango and latin rhythm.
I'd like very much to try a flute/piano version. How long would it take for you to prepare it?
thanks

Re: New PIece: "Echoes"
I am glad you liked it. I'm glad you are interested! I can probably create a piano version very quickly since the accompaniment is finished. I would say I can do it within 2 weeks. Could you pm me an email that I can contact you? I will go ahead and post an update here as well whenever I am finished since there is at least one interested in a piano version.
