The web is forever...

Post by pied_piper »

Six years ago, I posted a few photos of some of my personal flutes and other instruments here on the Fluteland forum:

Today, I was reading an email newsletter from Ferree's Tools, a manufacturer of musical instrument repair tools/supplies. I followed a link in the newsletter to their articles on woodwind repair. When I browsed to the page about flute pads, I was surprised to see that same photo of MY instruments on their website.

Now, I really don't mind that they "borrowed" my photo, but it just goes to show, if you post photos anywhere on the web, you just never know who will see it or how the photos will be used. :?

And not very well. They just used the 'clone' tool in Photoshop to paint over it. Geez.

Well PP, it is a pretty awesome picture! I wish I had a few of those in my collection!
