Hello everybody,
It's so excited to find this site! I have a question about my flute head joint reflective plate. My flute is a brand new pearl 665, and I find the reflective plate in the headjoint dose not seal perfect with the tube wall recently. I could see clearly a little cork expose when I see inside of headjoint.
Do you think this is common problem or the cork need to be adjust? I worried about so much because there are so many water each time I play and wooden cork would be dead after a short time.
Waiting for your great suggestion.
Best,
Lu

It's not an issue, so long as the cork is sealing all is good.
