I've got a Sankyo CF401 Artist model, which was COA'd a couple of months ago by Flute Center of NY, and is really nicely adjusted. However, I may have been over-zealous in trying to clean the flute and the next time I assembled it I noticed that 2 keys had the white felt pads skewed. I maneuvered them back into place and pressed down gently. They seem to be OK now, but I'm afraid they might fall off without my noticing, as I'm not sure if there is sufficient glue there.
Would it be safe get some ordinary contact cement, carefully remove the two felts, and put some cement on the tops of the felts and bottoms of the key feet, let them dry, and put the felts back in place?
