Question about glue
Can anyone recommend a glue or adhesive that I can safely use on my flute to adhere a cork disk to the left hand, first finger key to add a bit of height and improve the overall hand shape? I have seen this customization a several flutes but have been reticent to do it on my own for fear of using an adhesive that could damage the silver. I should also mention that semi-permanent hold would be best as if I decide to sell the instrument down the road, the cork can be removed along with any remaining residue from the adhesive.
