Hi Everyone,
I'm kind of new to playing the flute. I recently took my instrument to be serviced so that it plays every note accurately. I was told that all of the notes play, but when I got the flute home, and started to play my first notes, I noticed that the 'A' above low C sounds the same as the Bb flat note.
I'm not sure what's happening. I don't think that it's my embuchure as the notes are so close together. I haven't played any other notes as yet, so I don't know if it is happening with other pitches.
Does anyone know what could be happening?
Thanks.
Same note sound

Re: Same note sound
What fingering are you using for those notes?
"Never give a flute player a screwdriver."
