I have an odd problem with a Pearl I bought from a friend: I can't get low C using the levers, but I can if I press the keys shut with the side of my knee.
When I examine the action I can't see anything wrong with the movement.
It also seems a bit odd that I can see circular grooves in the pads, which suggests a lot of use (she said she bought it new and gave up after her second lesson.)
Any insights?
