Can't play Eb3 and some other problems

Well thats it. I can't play Eb3. I can play all the other notes on flute except this one. I'm also haveing problems doing rips. Our band director gave us "After the love is gone" and we flutes have a rip form F4 to F5 and the song is writen in the key of F. So... any advice

For Eb in the 3rd register, look up the alternate fingerings. Once you get a stable sound, return to the basic fingering.

I'm sorry i ment Eb4 or vary low Eb. I can hit all the notes except that on

Could you be moving your hand to depress the Eb key and in process pushing the ring finger trill key?
