I bought a second hand flute. I know nothing about flutes so took it to a flute teacher. She said it needed some repair. The repair man said it was a Rosehill and showed me where the make was stamped on the underneath. He can repair it for moderate cost (£25)
He said it was a reasonable student flute.
Does anyone here know about Rosehill flutes? Are they ok for a beginner? My first instrument is the piano so I am reluctant to spend a lot of money on a flute at the moment until I try to play it and decide whether or not I will like it enough to continue on a regular basis.
