Indvidual Practice Help

Post by swardhunter »

Hello guys,

I have problem I have started playing Flute On Feb 2019 with a guidance of teacher until September. after that i had to move to another country and since then I was forced to practice alone . the problem is i don't know what to do or any plan how to practice. Eventually I gave up and since then I haven't used my flute. I was lucky that I found your forum and I hope maybe you guys can help me with any advice or tips of how to plan my practice individually.
So far I have practiced the basic notes on the second and third octave and I have played very simple notes. I have problem with my breathe in addition to the quality of the sound and my main aim is that I would like to play notes by listening.

Thanks in Advance.

Here are my thoughts:

1- Have you looked for a new teacher in your current location?
2 - If there are none near you, you might consider online lessons via Skype.
3 - If that is not an option, buy the Trevor Wye series of flute books and work your way through them in order 1 to 6.
