Slow response

Post by @Danix »

Hello, my flute's response is slow. How do I know if it is my mouth or a flute problem?

Well, that's not quite enough information to help you troubleshoot the slow response. Does this happen on all notes or just certain ones? Does it happen all the time or just some of the time? Any other details would help us help you.

Yes, it happens all the time. It is very light so it is not noticeable in not very fast works, but when playing for example a passage of sixteenth notes chopped in vivance or slower the sounds are mixed and I have to play them slower. I think it happens in all the notes but I'm not sure. Thank you very much for your help.
And forgive my not very advanced English.

I'd suggest that you find an experienced flutist who could try your flute to find out if there is a problem with your flute. Then you will have a better idea if it is you or your flute.
