Neck Pain

Hello, playing the flute hurts the back of my neck. Why can this be? How can I solve it? Should I go to the doctor ?. My lectern is pretty low so I have to duck my head a little to play, could that be why?

Get yourself a real adjustable music stand. If you are not standing up straight while playing, that will make your neck hurt.
