Hello- I was just wondering if anyone really knew how to
count 32nd notes. I have an audition in a couple of weeks, and in one of the
songs, there is about 8 32nd notes in a row. I was just wondering if anyone
could offer me a counting method. Thanks!

32nd Notes?
okay... An eighth note devides the beat into two parts
right.. (one and, two and ...) A sixteenth note devides the beat into four parts
right... (one ee and uh, two ee and uh...) A thirtysecond note devides the beat
into eight parts (the down beat has one e and uh and then the up beat has one ee
and uh) It is easier to count pieces with thirtysecond notes with the eighth
note getting the beat as opposed to the quarter note... when doing that the
quarter note gets two beats, eighth note gets one beat, the sixteenth note gets
half a beat (one and two and... ) and the thirtysecond note gets a fourth a beat
(one ee and uh...) So that basically means that everything doubles in value....
Does that help????? [8)]
