How do you play a low B?

Post by SaraBeth »

Some one please help me, I don''t know how to play a
low B or a low Bb on my flute! I have a B-foot open hole flute. What is the
fingering for these notes? They are the ones below the staff. Thank you![:)]

To finger a low B you do the same as a low C
but slide your finger onto the second roller in front of it(while still holding
down the first roller and key behind that) Low B-flat is not possible on a Low-B
foot(hence it is a low B not low Bb)unless you have a special attachment, but
apparently they are making low Bb-foots now too but I have yet to see one
