help......braces??

Post by cafan14 »

I played the flute for about 2 years and then i
quit....i have just recently bought a flute and decided 2 play again....but
since i stopped playing before i got fixed braces/traintracks..... now i
can''t get the clean notes i used 2...has this happened to anyone else?...do
you think it is the braces?..i''m pretty sure it is because i got clear notes
the first time i ever picked up a flute, in my first lesson..how can i overcome
it? please help...this is really annoying me......lol.. Emily..xx[;)]

Try searching "braces" in the upper-right hand
search box. This shows you past topics. Here is one I found but there are a
bunch more,

I have traintracks and have done for about a year and a half and just percivere. It took me a week to get the clear notes back again and your mouth gets used to it. The only thing is adjusting when you have them taken off, I have mine taken off next week so I will let you know how easy it is to readjust
