Is there anyone out there that has used the PowerLung Trainer device to improve their breathing? If so, what were the results?

I have never used the PowerLung trainer. I recommend playing the flute more!!! I know this sounds silly, but in all honesty, I'd stick with figuring out breath control on the flute and not on another device...

I just ordered something called a "breath builder." Been playing flute for 17 years and never tried anything like that... but I recently started practicing again after taking about 6 months off and I am so out of shape. I only got the idea because of when I was in the hospital at one time and after surgery, they give you these plastic things that you breathe into that help you get your lungs back in working order... this breath builder thing sort of reminded me of it. So who knows, it may not do anything, but it was only $12 or so. Worth a shot. ;)
Cheers,
Emily
