High f trill on piccolo

Hello everyone. I am new to your board. I am hoping you can help me.

I have a gmeinhardt student piccolo (silver mouthpiece, black resin body). For some reason on this piccolo I have a very hard time trilling high f to high g. I am fine with f# to g. It is just something with that one combination. I have played for too many years to count, so I don't believe it to be a lip thing.

Any suggestions on things to try or things to check on the piccolo itself? It is very frustrating!
