Ok so I have this older Yamaha YPC-61 piccolo and I would like to know if there are any differences between it and the newer 62 like significant improvements in tone and intonation?

I never could tell the difference from a players perspective. If the older one is not worn out, I would just get it cleaned and adjusted.
