Hey everyone! I am Collin! I'm 14 and I have been playing flute for about 6 months, but I have a 3 year background on the fench horn. I recently got a new Armstrong flute (my second flute), and I am having a little trouble with airy high notes (from high "C" and up). If anyone has any helpful hints, I would sure appreciate them!!
First of all, kudos to you for getting to learn the (supposed) hardest instrument for 3 years.
The key trick with the higher tones is not the strong you blow it, but the change of shape of your ambuchere. try imagining blowing into a straw, and keep practising.
