Double, triple tonguing
Hi Becky, this is a general musical term. Many
instruments use double/triple tonguing... We basically use it when the tempo
warrants faster tongue action than we can manage just 'single tonguing' (ie
"T-T-T-T"). Double tonguing uses the tongue action "T-K-T-K" etc. Triple
tonguing follows the same principle but is used for triplets or triple-time
(6/8, 9/8 etc) - "TKT TKT TKT" or "TKT KTK TKT KTK"

doo-goo-doo-goo is better for double tounging because it is a smoother sound that tktktk.

I wouldn't say one is better than the other. It all depends on what kind of piece you're playing, what kind of mood, etc. Personally, I think of "too koo," but that doesn't mean I can't make it smooth if I want. It's really all in how you are imagining it anyway.. you're not actually pronouncing a "T" or a "D."
There is one important thing. You must pay more attention to
"K".Because normally the strenth of "K" is weaker than that
of"T".So you have to practice more on "K".
By the way you could inhale in the double tonguing.
TPTK. When you are playing the "P",expel the air in you mouth
out and inhale at the mean time.

Exactly! Plus if you practice it slowly and work your way faster, it will be very smooth!
Jupiter is correct about this, each not should sound the same and therefor you may need to practice the goo, or the kuu more.
You should be able to start on any syllable, so practice just playing: Doo, Doo, Doo, Doo, and then practice Goo, Goo, Goo. Once you have gotten that, then you can put it togeather.
