Muramatsu models

Post by Mustey »

Hi,

I have two simple questions:
1) What is the difference between the AD and DN models?
2) What does the abbreviations mean (EX, GX, AD and DN)

Thanks.

Visit http://www.muramatsu-america.com/ for more information on current models. I am not sure, but I believe that the AD and DN are older models no longer in production. However, I do know that the AD has solid silver head, body and keys (maybe the current DS model?). Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

The EX model has a solid silver head and plated body and keys. The GX has a solid head and body with plated keys. The abbreviations are simply used to distinguish the different models, though I do not know the history of why these specific ones are used.

The AD and DN models have been "combined". Now only DS is available. The new DS uses new pads as well (designed by Muramatsu).
