Vibrato

Post by SilverwindWicca2007 »

I'm sure you've noticed the "Panic mode MAJOR" topic that's up in the general hangout, that I posted yesterday. Sorry 'bout that... I'm not usually so stressed. Anyway. I've got my tone back under controll, but when I add vibrato, it gets all airy and has kind of a tinny sound to it. I called my flute instructor, but she's not so hot at explaining things on the phone. Any advice??

try to have the air come from your stomach and really open up your throat. act as if you are swallowing a golf ball or holding an egg in your mouth. hope this helped!
