Does anyone have a favourite recording(s) of CPE Bach's A minor sonata for solo flute? It's a very unusual piece, and a I'd like to hear a great musician shed real light on it.
Another query: does anyone know of an interesting analysis of the relationship between CPE and his dad's ideas? (Just a long shot, that one)
Illuminating recording of CPE Bach's A minor sonata?

I like Galway's.
Its on some compliation CD of his called "Classical James Galway" or something like that. I remember it also has Mozart's Andante in C and some telemann on it if that helps.
I really like the 2nd and 3rd movements of the Sonata in A(m), but the adagio part in front seems to drag on forever. Its still probably one of my favorite unaccompanied solos.
As for your last question, with all the kids Bach had I wonder if poor Carl Phillip even knew the guy
