i am trying to get a schlorship for a umass band camp in the summer and i need a district solo piece what do you prefer?

Do you have to choose from a list? If you don't/if it's on there, I would recommend the Chaminade Concertino if it's not too hard.

did you mean solo without a piano? concertino by chaminade is written for flute and piano.

I don't see why not. The Chaminade is pretty without accomp. I played the Mozart G major Concerto without accomp. at all of the universities I auditioned at.
In fact, most people don't have accomp.
