Natural?

Is it possible for a vibrato to come naturally? Without having
to learn how to ''do'' it? Becky xXxXx

I would say yes. There are people who just do it and those who
learn it. For both, it is very useful to learn how to control it and to do that,
you need practice and understanding. So, for both the natural and learned, you
need practice.

i agree.. it is certainly possible for it to come natural but
you can't get into the habit of always playing with vibrato.. you need to know
how to play without it also. it is easy to fall into the habit of always playing
with vibrato when it comes naturally.

Thank you!!! Finally! I knew it could come naturally! Have you
been on flute.com's forum? They will bend over backwards to argue that it's
