new open-holed flute: how do you do it?!!!!
nah...that's not true at
all.... is your question about open-holed flutes? and how to adjust from playing
from a closed hole flute to open hole? in general, my suggestion is to go cold
turkey. take out all the plugs and just go for it. however depending on your
hand size it may be a little difficult for your fourth finger to reach the G
key, and occassionally the fourth finger in the right hand can sometimes lift up
in the back when going for the low notes. those fingers tend to create the
biggest problems when readjusting, just being aware and conscious of those
fingers can sometimes help keeping them over the holes. i hope this helps! and
best of luck... and where's there's a question, hopefully someone can
answer...
