Have you checked in your local music store? Another thing, do
you play clarinet and flute?

check out fluteworld.com. you may even want to give them a
call for some suggestions as well. but you may have to buy something for 2
flutes and transpose one of the parts for clarinet. and if you do that
everything is up a whole step....i'm PRETTY sure...but if you get to that point
come back and ask, and i'll know for sure. good luck

A side note but possibly helpful to this question. Yamaha's
online sheet music and software division is having a 15% off sale on everything
they sell. So you may want to look there. Or if you've been waiting to save a
few bucks on a music software program for your PC, you may want to check it
out.

I'm not too sure if this will help you much in transposing,
but a B flat on a flute is the same as a C on clarinet. I actually just found a
version that is quite short, but sure to help u in rewriting. I'll scan it for
u then send it to you by email!

hi everyone...i'm from malaysia and i've only been playing
the flute for about a year and i'm not exactly an expert at the flute. well i
don't expect to be so soon. but as i don't take lessons for flute, i'm like
totally alone. so it would be great if any of u would give me any help advice or
tips or anything. and also help me find solo flute pieces. i can never seem to
find any good flute books around here. and one of my biggest probs is that i
have braces so it's a real bother...perhaps u all could tell me how to overcome
this. i would greatly appreciate all the help i can get :-)

Hey, the trick with playing with braces is keeping your lips
loose for a while until you get used to it play lower notes and avoid anything
above D3 Once you get used to it, ytou'll do fine. Check 8notes.com and
musicscores.com they have some good flute pieces for free. anymore questions
feel free to ask luck

Advice? Pick a series of lesson books and practice. Then
practice some more. If at all possible try to at least occasionally get a
teacher to hear and see you and make sure you don't go too far astray. Then
practice again. Good luck.
