Testiment to the quality and durability of Yamaha flutes

I did somthing stupid today. I accidently left my Yamaha 381 in the car for 12 hours in the 98 degree Louisiana heat. I thought for sure the pads would be trash when I got back to town but after I got it home and let it cool off it plays fine and the pads don't look like they sustained any damage. I was worried all day long. I will NEVER make that stupid mistake again though.
