Flute Mini-Fest '09 – Fullerton, Southern California – 4/30 - 5/1

This should be of interest to Students and teachers in the SoCal area. Brochures should be arriving in the mail to everyone on our mailing list, but I’m spreading the word through the grapevine as well so please feel free to pass the word along to any other flutists, or any music teachers that might pass it on to their students.

The Cal State University Fullerton Arts website has some details at http://www.fullerton.edu/arts/events/ which I’ve pasted in below, but of course the brochure has more to say about the festival. I’m still waiting for a pdf file of the brochure, but I’ve scanned the one I have and hosted it on my personal photo account. You can view it and read more detail about the events by clicking on these links.

Thought I'd bump this for the weekend.

If any one is interested, here's a little more about Paige Dashner Long - the woman doing the show on Friday night.

Just a bump to remind people that this is only a few days away - Thursday and Friday of this week!

BTW, Fox did a special report on Paige Long - Friday night's special guest.

World's largest flute!
