Hi All,
I recently upgraded to a Miyazawa flute and have decided (reluctantly) to part with my silver Prima Sankyo. Last summer I briefly had it up for sale but decided to keep it.. Now I know that the Miyazawa is what I want, so this one has to go. It plays beautifully and needs a home! Please let me know if you're interested.
FOR SALE:
All sterling silver Prima Sankyo flute for sale *without headjoint*. Handmade, heavy wall, B foot, open hole, inline G, white gold springs, drawn tone holes with C# trill and "Nel Insert" (this is a high E facilitator), gizmo key, C#/D# rollers. Great condition. Recently had COA. Includes leather case, fleece lined case cover, and wooden cleaning rod. This flute was a demo model from Sankyo that was purchased by me 1999. I am the first and only owner. Exceptional flute, stays in adjustment beautifully. Everyone who tries it falls in love (I want to keep it, but have upgraded to a 9k Miyazawa!) Price is $5,700 Negotiable - am happy to arrange a trial. Comparable to CF-501BN and would sell new with headjoint for $9375 with all upgrades seen here (this particular flute was manufactured prior to LeBlanc acquisition, and I have been told that it is of higher quality). Flute World did a 2008 appraisal of this flute (without headjoint) for $7150.00. Scan of appraisal is available upon request.
