I'm not saying that there's not "all kinds of dna
and stuff dripping out the end of your flute". I'm just saying that she
doesn't need to sound so rude.

wow Penny.... i guess you made your point,
unfortunately, it has done nothing to convince me of your point of view or
opinion. i am a very very strong believer that the stuff that drips out of my
flute is not saliva (it doesn't even have the same characteristics of saliva -
it's not thick like saliva can be and it sures doesn't drip out of your mouth
like saliva can...) and i don't think that the moisture that has come out of my
instrument would ever be enough to draw really conclusive DNA results. and in
regards to knocking my flute mechanic. you can knock me all you'd like, but
let's be fair, you can't knock him because he's not here to defend himself
and if that's your way of taking a really cheap shot that's low.

It's been a LONG time since someone's called me
"kiddo". Lol. [:)] I strongly agree with you, Courtney, i'm pretty sure that
it's not saliva that comes out of my flute although i do catch myself sometimes
accidentally spitting in my flute. [8)]

Oh, willi, could you please not use my Lord's name
in vain like you do. Hearing (or in this case, seeing) someone say "Oh my god"
is very offensive. I really appreciate it.

I would love to have an explanation of how I was
sarcastic so I can avoid it in future posts. If you can find anyone that can
explain to me that it isn't saliva in the moisture you blow into your flute, I
am always willing to learn. I did not say anything about DNA, as I don't find
it relavent. I did try and guess motivation into your "flute mechanic" as his
reasoning escapes me. I know of no book, expert or repair person that does not
believe the moisture you blow into a flute does not have a negative influence on
the life of your pads, especially when your mouth has food substances in it. If
one exists please quote it. If you feel any of this was written in a way to be
sarcastic or talk down, please explain what part as I attempted to strictly
inform

No No Penny is wright there is definatly saliva
"maybe not saliva but moisture from the body anyway" going through the flute,
think about a trombone, your blowing air through the horn but moisture still
acumulates where does this magical substance come from? your lungs mouth etc.
thats why you have to check the "spit Vavle so often" heres another one, Breath
on a cold window "moisture appears" it aint because the window got colder, its
because the moisture from your breath has condensated onto the window. will it
ruin your flute i dont know does it contain sugar I dought that "the dna comment
was mine I was being gross" I pledge aleigance to the flag of the united states
of america and to the republic for which it stands, one nation "INDIVISIBLE" for
libety and just for all. I get it reamed down my throat all day at school "NOT
HERE" and saying Ohh my god is not taking anyones name in vain its literaly a
prayer now if I said Jesus Friggin Christ you drive me crazy= that could be
considered offensive. you seem like a real nice kid flute girl but Iam not a
christian and wont change my values for a message board

This place has become more about saying what makes
people happy and in a way that pleases them instead of sharing information and
opinions. Sad Apparently its insulting to be informed that there is saliva in
your instrument. I give up. People want to be stroked not informed

I would love to know how you blow into a flute
without blowing in saliva? I wonder if you "flute mechanic" has too many pads
sitting around and is looking for a customer Penny for god sakes this doesent
read sarcasticaly to you? How did this statement above inform anyone of the
characteristics of what comes out whats in someones breath. You daily offend
people on this board. I think my post was a bit more Tactful or helpful maybe

Penny, the thing that you said that I mentioned as
being sarcastic was "Chewing gum while playing? sheesh do we really need to
discuss that?" I'm not trying to make any enimies, only God knows that I don't
need anymore of them, but I'm just asking that we share the info we have in a
polite way and not try to make others feel bad for bringing a topic up, like
chewing gum while playing the flute. ok? Penny, please don't take this as me
being judgemental or anything, i'm just trying to clarify.[] Love you
all!!![:)]
