Hey guys, I'm just playing on a really cheapo flute. I don't know what model it is but... it says Alpine on the case.
Anyways... I lent this flute to my friend as I was busy with other things. When she gave it back this happened to the mouth piece. It doesn't affect the sound or anything or feel, but it just doesn't look very appealing.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thank you !

You've got Tarnish!
It is not uncommon that certain people's skin oils or makeup will cause this reaction. Get some silver polish, (Wright's Silver Cream is available in a lot of places) Apply and wipe off.

Use on the headjoint only please.
Oh! Thanks a lot! I was sure it was along those lines. What can I use to clean the body? (it doesn't have the same tarnish, but it's dirty)
