Put in place an Animation Studio in India

Post by RiyaButler »

Hi,
I am an American. I prefer to Put together an Animation Studio in India. Presently i'm looking for computer animators. I chose India mainly because it is more affordable compared to U.S. I want to understand the methods for opening a business enterprise in India, especially an 2d animation studio.

Could you people please help me out?

First off, I am going to give you a WARNING. Things that are not flute/music related, or at least not from a regular member will cause you to be instantly banned from the board. Since this is obviously not a spam message, I will let this go for now. If this thread get too out of hand, I will lock it or delete it.

As far as starting a business in India, the best thing to do is find a person/company in India that is already established and partner with. This will also give you a convenient way of getting work Visas in that country as well.

Although there are a lot of people that speak Hindi and English, most people speak one of 50 different languages. It would be very difficult for an American to start a company there no matter how rich you are.

Hope this helps, and good luck.

Phineas

Have you spoken to some of the Universities that feature the skills you're looking for?
They could put you on to some talent

Sorry Phineas, it was my mistake.
Thanks for not banning.

Dear Classiter, I contacted few institutes and they also sent me few portfolios but most of them were freshers. Trying to get in touch with few more production houses . Let's see. Thanks for your concern.
