can you please tell me what it is when I'm playing sometimes (I'm a beginner) and there are undertones coming from my throat. What is that???
Thank you.

Re: tones coming from throat
You are probably playing with too much tension in your throat and it is too closed. When playing, keep your throat open like when you yawn.

Re: tones coming from throat
Sounds like you're describing vocalisations (from your throat?) or impure tones from embouchure technique?
Perhaps try a few embouchure positions; moving your lips to cover more of the hole; less of the hole; then varying the aperture shape and size; then varying the angle of the flute relative to your lips; then varying the position of the flute, relative to your head.
If you can get a position with less undertones, you're probably a step closer to the kind of sound you're after.
There are some flute skype tutors, who will give a free lesson for you, so you don't have to pay, and if you want a lesson in the future, they will probably help your technique feel less frustrating as you learn, at not too huge a cost.
Good luck!
